Since 1990 we have sourced the wonderful natural larder of the far north west of the Scottish coastline, and for the past two years since acquiring the 4-acre croft surrounding The Albannach, we have been developing the production of some of our own vegetables, herbs and fruit in our poly tunnel and fruit cages.
This summer will see the arrival of a hive or two of bees, with pollination the priority.
Two local crofters have long provided eggs, flowers, jam and organic vegetables.
Shellfish is landed at our door daily, and wild sea fish caught locally are readily available.
